Harper's Bazaar - 镜花水月 Mirrors of Illusions

This project was created in collaboration with Harper’s Bazaar and CGI artist Di Liu, combining live-action photography with 3D post-production. The visuals explore a poetic, dreamlike world inspired by Chinese classical aesthetics and mythology. The imagery features spiritual, atmospheric environments and mythical creatures drawn from traditional Chinese legends.

The project required close coordination across styling, set design, lighting, and makeup to achieve a cohesive visual language. The result is a richly layered, immersive atmosphere with a strong sense of fantasy and mood.
